Glass Making Classes

The Canal Fulton Glassworks is proud to offer classes in hot glass working. No prior glass working experience is necessary. Classes are offered on Saturdays at 10:00 AM. Contact us for special times or days if Saturday does not fit your schedule. All classes instructed by our resident artist: Brian Graham. We do not offer classes in glass blowing.

We strive to offer participants a safe and positive art glass experience. All participants must sign a waiver of release prior to class. Participants must be in good health and capable of easy self sustained movement. Students aged 14 -17 are required to take the class along with their legal guardian. All minors (PERSONS UNDER 18) must meet with the instructor for approval prior to scheduling for a class. We reserve the right to refuse individuals which may pose a safety concern. Hot glass working is dangerous and requires respect and patience. For safety information and what to expect in the glass shop - see: Glass Shop Rules and Procedures.

All classes must be prescheduled and require a reservation. All fees must be paid before the class begins and are non refundable once the class starts. Gift Certificates for classes are available for sale at the gallery. A deposit of $10 is required to hold a class spot. Please note: Because glass must cool down over a 24 hour period, it will be necessary to return to the studio some time after the class to pick your completed projects up. Generally this is on the next day we are open which is Tuesday.
